MORE DETAILS
HOW TO POWER
The GROTBOX must be powered via the connected USB cable, to a standard USB-A port such as on your PC / Mac, a USB-A outlet, or the like. The USB connection is purely for power and installs no drivers / or software.
AUDIO CONNECTION
The GBOXM1 uses a standard 3.5mm jack, that should be connected to your audio interface (headphone out, usually) directly, or using a 6.35mm adapter if need be, of course. You could also connect your GROTBOX via another output, such as a jack or XLR out using an appropriate adapter.
SUM TO MONO
To feed your GROTBOX a real mono source, your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) / software should be set to output mono, whilst monitoring on your GROTBOX. You can see a list below for best summing practices in your DAW.

MONITORING
The on-wire volume control can be used to change the volume of your GROTBOX, however it might suit you to leave the GROTBOX on-wire volume dial on full, and simply use your interface / DAC's volume control (headphone volume control if using the headphone out).
